The well of the ring also known as Arees Well. This major well was located west of Quba mosque and its site has been incorporated on the new Mosque extension. It was also named the Well of the Ring due to the story in the Hadith that mentioned the fall of the Prophet's ring into that well from the hands of Othman ibn Affan (PBUH).
